For this year’s iPhone 15, Apple will continue to offer four models, but they will be more different from each other.
Jeff Pu, an analyst at Haitong International Securities, said the entry-level iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models to be launched later this year will have a 48-megapixel rear camera lens.
In the research report, Pu said the 48 megapixel lenses on these models will use a new three-layer sensor that can capture more light and improve image quality.
Apple debuted a 48-megapixel camera lens on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max last year.
The lens enables users to take 48 megapixel ProRAW photos, which preserves more detail in image files and also allows for more editing flexibility.
They won’t have the A17 processor due to positioning and pricing issues, but they may get 8GB of RAM and a USB-C port, but the speed won’t be quite the same as the Pro.

As for the more expensive iPhone 15 Pro model, which will feature a titanium alloy frame, an upgraded A17 bionic chip, an additional 8GB of RAM and more, the most expensive version this year is said to cost more than 20,000 yuan.
