According to the latest overseas sources, Apple has already started recording the event video, the final event date will be September 13.
As is Apple’s custom, iPhone 14 series that will follow this event will be released on September 23, so those who are ready to take advantage of it will have their cash ready.
It’s worth noting that the pricing of Apple’s iPhone 14 series has been a hot topic of debate. There have been many rumors that the price of the series will increase across the board, on one hand, because of higher prices of materials and supply chains, on the other hand, it is also significantly enhanced configuration, which directly increases the cost.
However, according to recent supply chain sources, the standard iPhone 14 will not increase its price this time around. It will remain the same starting price of 5,999 yuan ($799 in North America) as its predecessor, which is the most entry-level model of the year.
While it’s true that the price is a bit higher than the entry-level iPhone 13 series, this is due to the cancellation of the cheapest Mini model, which had previously pushed the starting price to 5,199 yuan, and the 6.1-inch standard model, which also started at 5,999 yuan.
As for the two models of iPhone 14 Pro series, it is highly likely that the price will rise this time, mainly because the upgrade is huge and the cost is significantly increased.
The new cut-out screen, the 48-megapixel camera, and so on, all add up to a significant cost increase that Apple will have to raise if it wants to maintain its profits and maintain its reporting numbers.
