A new round of rumors about the iPhone 13 began to circulate this week. After information about the screen and processor of the next smartphones from Apple, new speculations arise about the device. According to Daniel Ives, an analysis of Apple’s Asian supply chains indicates that the company intends to produce between 130 million and 150 million iPhones in the second half of the year.
At the same time, the iPhone 13 will account for 35 to 45% of all smartphones produced by Apple in the third quarter. As for the timeline, the analyst is confident that this year the next generation of the iPhone will be launched in the third week of September.
Taiwanese research firm TrendForce also announced last week that Apple will release the iPhone 13 in September. Last year’s delay in the announcement of the iPhone 13 is believed to have been a one-off occurrence. As for the specs of the upcoming iPhones, Ives claims that the Pro version of the smartphone will receive storage capacities up to 1TB. He also suggests that the iPhone 13 and 13 mini can boast up to 512GB of storage.
Earlier it was reported that all smartphones of the upcoming series will receive improved cameras and reduced cutouts for the FaceID face scanning system in the screen.
As a reminder, according to the latest leaked information, Apple is likely to announce four iPhones this fall: the 5.4-inch iPhone 13 mini, the 6.1-inch iPhone 13 and 13 Pro, and the 6.7-inch iPro Max along with new AirPods and Apple Watch Series 7. While the new iPad and MacBook Pro models using the highly anticipated M1X chip may be announced at the next events at the end of the year.
In addition, the iPhone 13 is also expected to cost the same as the iPhone 12 when it was first announced. Its Mini version is sold from $699, the standard version has a starting price of $799, the Pro version costs $999, while Pro Max starts at point $1,099. The most expensive version of the new series is the Pro Max 512GB priced at $1,399.
