Twitter account owner @MajinBuOfficial claims that the iPad mini 6 will come with an 8.6-inch display, while the current model is 7.9-inch. It supports the 2nd-generation Apple Pencil, uses the A14 Bionic chip, supports Touch ID, replaces the Lightning connector. It is USB-C and a Smart Connector has been added.
Majin Bu also shared a render of the 6th-generation iPad mini, showing off a home button-less design. The volume and power buttons have been moved to the top, and Touch ID is now integrated into the power button, giving the 6th-generation iPad mini the look of the current iPad Air mini.

According to the leaker, the tablet would hit the market in November 2021. Mark Gurman, the reporter at Bloomberg, agrees. According to him, Apple will not present the iPad mini 6 this Tuesday, September 14 during the keynote of the iPhone 13 and the Apple Watch Series 7. The Cupertino giant is said to have planned to unveil the tablet at the second conference in October 2021.
