ILA X which is very similar in design to Apple’s iPhone X seems to be sold for $120 in the TOMTOP online store. ILA X looks exactly like the iPhone X, but its contents are completely different things. iLA X features a 5.5-inch 18:9 bezel-less display, much bigger than a traditional smartphone with the same size, perfect for watching movies and playing games, gives unparalleled using experience for you. Special coating at the rear brings the mirror effect, with the rounded edges, extremely slim and light body, iLA X will deliver a great hand feeling.
Design
The phone draws on two aspects: the ‘original’ design of the front and the very cool name. The smartphone has a display that obviously copies the design of the much-famous iPhone X. At the top, we find the ‘cut-out’ that incorporates the dual self-contained camera and the light sensor. We take the step to the back area, which of course looks the same as the Apple smartphone. The Chinese manufacturer also copied the position of the main room. We have two photosensors arranged horizontally and the LED flash between them. The back is made of plastic with mirror finishes. The color variation is developed in three colors, black, brush gold, white. The device measures 7.95 millimeters in thickness, which is quite slim. By the way, we are dealing with an 18: 9 IPS LCD panel equipped with 5.5 inches and a resolution of 1280 × 640 pixels. Apple’s smartphone has a screen that covers the entire front. The Chinese iLA company did not completely copy this because under the screen we find a Home button that incorporates a fingerprint scanner.
Hardware
The internal configuration is pretty well equipped. The iLA X smartphone features 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM, and a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor. The presence of the MT6737 chipset means decent performance and 4G LTE connectivity. External TF card support up to 128GB and 4G Connectivity! Inside is a 2500mAh accessory Lithium-Ion battery, which is little if we take into account the generous dimensions of the screen.
Features
We only know that the terminal includes the 13-megapixel main camera and the 5-megapixel camera. Both cameras are dual, but we do not know how many megapixels have the second sensor of each dual camera. With regard to the operating system, it is no surprise that the device is running Android 7.0 Nougat. These are the most interesting aspects of this iPhone X clone. It’s using a 3.5mm earphone port so using wired earphones will be easy. In security, it comes with a fingerprint scanner for easy unlock with your finger. The USB connector is the old Micro USB cable, not new Type-C. This might annoy some people.
Conclusion
Like hardware, iLA X has entry-level access to decent mid-range. The strength of this device is without question the front-end design. The $120 price is affordable. The phone will be available on TOMTOP at $119.99 In Presale
