Huawei’s smartwatches already have a foothold in the market, with shipments of wearable devices overtaking Xiaomi and Apple in the second quarter of this year, according to IDC.
A few days ago, other media first exposed the news of Huawei Watch GT2 Pro.
Last year, Huawei released the Watch GT2, followed by the more sporty GT2e, and now the GT2 Pro is almost ready to make its debut.
The biggest attraction of GT2 Pro is that it is the first time to add wireless charging function. It supports Qi standard and is compatible with a wide range of applications. The battery capacity of the GT2 Pro is also set at 455mAh and can last up to 14 days.
Other parameters include 32MB RAM, 4GB ROM, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, 50m water resistance, etc.
The GT2 Pro still features a rounded dial, OLED panel, 454×454 resolution, a 1.39-inch dial, and a seemingly optional 46mm diameter.
The Huawei Watch GT2 Pro is said to be released soon and will be priced at 280 euros (about 2,200 yuan) in Europe. Combined with Huawei’s previews, it is highly likely to be seen in the new product international launch event on September 10.
