Huawei’s future with Android has been threatened, but for model owners already on the market we have good news. Huawei has finally revealed when it will begin shipping the stable EMUI 10, based on Android 10.
According to the Chinese company, more than 30 models will be covered with the new version of its interface. The new Huawei Mate 30 will be the first to feature the new interface, thus starting the EMUI 10 distribution process.
After Mate 30, therefore, it will be the turn of Huawei P30and P30 Pro, the two top of the range from the Asian brand that will receive the software distribution Android 10 and EMUI 10 starting from November 2019.
The month of December 2019 is decidedly more demanding, during which the update will be released for Huawei Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 RS, Mate 20X 4G, Honor 20, Honor View 20 and Honor 20 Pro. The owners of Huawei P30 Lite and the Huawei P20 and Mate 10 smartphone ranges will necessarily have to wait at least March 2020.
As you can see from the list, EMUI 10 will reach the top of the company first. By the end of the year, all flagships unveiled in 2019 will feature the latest version of Android.
Already the mid-range of the company will have the same treatment before the end of the first quarter of next year, as well as the tops of 2018. For the second quarter is promised to upgrade to more equipment, although without specifying which.
This means that if your Huawei is not on this list, there is still a hint of hope that it will receive Android 10. Later on, the Chinese company is expected to specify which other models are included with the EMUI 10.
