Huawei has officially confirmed that it will hold a Huawei virtual press conference in Barcelona on February 24. This makes it the first company to officially confirm the event in Barcelona after GSMA canceled the MWC 2020. The company calls it a virtual press conference because it will show a pre-recorded keynote, followed by on-site demonstration experience.
As we mentioned above, the launch which will be held in Barcelona will introduce a number of new products. It will be live on the Youtube and Facebook platforms at 9:00 pm. Today, the company has shared a new teaser on social media, attracting the upcoming MateBook laptop.
Although the company has not completely specified, it is speculated that it will be an upgraded Huawei MateBook X Pro 2020. Along with it, online appeared one more poster with similar graphics, indicating the introduction of a new tablet. Apart from the “sweet” marketing language, we did not learn much again, however, according to unconfirmed information, the unknown tablet should be powered by its own production chipset Kirin 990, which also supports 5G.
Previously, it was confirmed that along with the aforementioned Huawei devices will also introduce a new folding smartphone, which could be Huawei Mate Xs, which the company management spoke last year when it said that will include a better processor (Kirin 990 5G ) than the Mate X, as well as an improved display and hinge mechanism. Design changes should make the phone more compact and durable at the same time.
In addition, Huawei‘s subsidiary Honor has announced plans to launch next-generation devices through a Livestream namely Huawei Virtual Press conference on the same day. Interested people can view on the official website of Honor.
