Today, through his official Weibo account Huawei announced that at the autumn conference of the Huawei Mate 50 series and new products in all scenarios on September 6, the “new member” of its door lock family – Huawei Smart Door Lock SE also will be launched.
As we can see in the shared teaser, and the suffix “SE”, this smart door lock will adopt a different handle design than the previous two door locks, but the price will be more affordable.
Although some features will remain the same as the predecessors. So, Huawei Smart Door Lock SE will use enhanced AI fingerprint unlocking, making the security aspects tougher and better. Apart, this smart door lock will equip the HarmonyOS operating system.
Besides, this smart door lock will inherit the visual camera function of the Pro version, so when someone rings the doorbell, you can directly view the picture outside the door. While, when someone makes an abnormal move or stays in front of the door, it will intelligently distinguish abnormal behaviors and take snapshots.
At the same time, as part of Huawei’s intelligent ecosystem, Huawei Smart Door Lock SE will also be pre-installed with HarmonyOS, which brings users a cross-segment intelligent interconnection experience. But unfortunately, Huawei has not released more information about this product.
