Today, Huawei held a new product launch event, introducing products such as the MateBook X Pro 2024 laptop and the Smartworld S7, as well as more details about HarmonyOS Next. But the official did not reveal any information about the Huawei P70 series.
But now, some netizens have exposed the core configuration and starting price of Huawei P70 series.
Huawei P70 series is expected to have four models, including P70 Standard Edition, Pro Edition, Pro+ edition and Art edition.
Leaks so far indicate that the regular P70 is equipped with a 6.56-inch four-curved LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 1.5K, while the other three have a larger 6.76-inch screen.
The P70 and P70 Pro are rumored to feature OmniVision’s 50MP OV50H main sensor, which is 1/1.3-inch in size, has 1.2μm pixels and a variable aperture. The P70 Pro+ and P70 Art will likely feature a 1-inch SONY IMX989 sensor. All four models feature 13-megapixel selfie lenses.
In addition, all four new P70 series phones, which are expected to run the yet-to-be-released Kirin 9010 chip, are equipped with 5,000mah + batteries and support for 88W wired fast charge.
On the price, the network transmission picture shows that the minimum Huawei P70 uses 12GB+512GB memory version, and the price starts from 4999 yuan, which is cheaper than the previous generation. The P70 Pro starts at $6,999, the P70 Pro+ starts at $8,999 and the P70 Art starts at $9,999. As a reference, the current Huawei Mall shows that the price of Huawei P60 512GB version is 5988 yuan. However, it is also available in 128GB and 256GB versions, with a starting price as low as 4,488 yuan.
Earlier, a new spy photo of a suspected P70 backplane circulated online. The newly leaked renderings are consistent with previous rumors showing the triangle module. The back of the phone appears to have matte AG glass, while the camera module has a sleek design.
