Recently, Germany media winfuture has leaked Huawei P40 and P40 Pro specific configurations. We can know details before its official press conference.
It is sid that Huawei P40 and P40 Pro will offer LTE version in some countries, but in Europe, Huawei only offer Kirin 990 5G Octa core processor version, the chipset includes 5G modem, the price should be over 799 euros and 999 euros.
Huawei P40 Pro has 6.58 inch AMOLED curved screen with 2640×1200 resolution, 441 PPI density, and 90Hz refresh rate. It uses two front cameras on the top left to contain F/2.2 aperture and 32MP auto-focus front camera, and an extra one, it supports Infrared sensor, which can not only be for depth effect, but also for IR face ID.
Camera is the main highlight of Huawei P40 series, Pro version has two RYYB sensor, one is for photographing, the other for video making. The main sensor has 50MP, which is claimed as ‘UltraVision’, and the sensor has F/1.9 sensor, supporting OIS function, it also uses Octa PD system for fast focusing.
In Europe, Huawei P40 Pro has RAM 8GB ROM 128 or 256GB, which uses Nano Memory-2 TF card for expansion, supporting NFC and Gbps wifi, built in 4,200mAh battery, up to 40W SuperCharge quick charge, and also supporting wireless charging, and IP68 certification for waterproof and dustproof.
However, Huawei P40 has 6.1 inch OLED screen with 2340×1080 resolution, 32MP front camera (F/2.0 aperture), and a depth sensor, no 3D face ID, built in 3,800mAh battery, up to 22.5W quick charge, not supporting wireless charging.
Although Huawei P40 also uses 50MP RYYB lens F / 1.9 UltraVision sensor, but it doesn’t support OIS, in addition, it has 16MP F/2.2 ultra wide angle camera, and a F/2.4 aperture camera for long distance, a 8MP camera to support OIS.
