Huawei will be launching the P20 Pro flagship phone triple-lens camera setup alongside the P20 smartphone on March 27. The Huawei P20 smartphone that is codenamed as Emily has already appeared on Geekbench benchmarking site. Today, the Huawei P20 Pro has surfaced on Geekbench. It reveals that the handset has managed to produce unimpressive scores on the benchmarking platform.
A Huawei smartphone with model number CLT-L29 has been spotted on Geekbench. CLT refers to Charlotte, the codename of the Huawei P20 Pro. As it can be seen, the handset that is driven most probably by the Kirin 970 chipset has scored 1,921 in single-core test and 6,729 in multi-core test. It is running on the latest Android 8.1.0 Oreo OS and the SOC of the phone is coupled with 6 GB of RAM.
The scores that can be seen above is not very far from what the Huawei Mate 10 Pro has score on the benchmarking site. However, these scores suggest it may not a major threat for the new Snapdragon 845 as I was for last year’s Snapdragon 835 chipset.
The Huawei P20 Pro is pegged to arrive with a 6.1-inch display that will support FHD+ resolution and an aspect ratio of 19:9 because of the notch. The triple-lens setup is expected to include 40-megapixel, 8-megapixel and 20-megapixel sensors. It is expected to feature a 24-megapixel selfie camera and 4,000mAh battery.
