Last year, Huawei had announced the Huawei P10 series smartphones at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 tech trade fair. Hence, the rumor mill has been speculating that the next-generation P series would be unveiled at MWC 2018 this year. However, recent reports have claimed that Huawei not be announcing any smartphones at MWC 2018 as it will be holding a dedicated launch event in March or April to announce the Huawei P11 or P20 flagship phones. The company has now officially confirmed that it would be debuting the next P series phones on March 27.
The Chinese manufacturer will be holding a launch event at Paris, France to announce the P11 or P20 family. The company has trademark P11 and P20 monikers. Hence, it is difficult to speculate whether the upcoming P series phones will be arriving as P11 or P20.

Recent leaks have revealed that the company would be announcing P11/P20, P11/P20 Plus and P11/P20 Lite smartphones. Some reports have claimed that there would be another phone with P11/P20 Pro moniker that will be featuring a notch like the iPhone X. The forthcoming Huawei P series flagship phone could be the first smartphone to be equipped with triple lens camera setup.
The Kirin 970 chipset that powers the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro is heavily pegged to power the next-generation P series flagship. These phones are also expected oar rive with 18:9 aspect ratio display.
