After the release of Huawei Nova 8 SE, the new leaks and rumors are continuously coming regarding the launch details, specifications, and more related to the upcoming Nova 8 series, which comes in two variants, Huawei Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro. It was reported that this series could still be equipped with a Kirin chipset and tentatively scheduled to arrive on 23 December and is expected to be launched for sale on December 30.
Now, a Weibo tipster “@科技du” shared a post, which stated that Huawei Nova 8 will indeed be equipped with HiSilicon Kirin 9000 chips and combined with last night’s teaser content to have a certain credibility.
Of course, the Nova 8 series is not expected to be equipped with HiSilicon Kirin chips, but only some models, which are expected to include MediaTek Dimensity models or other Kirin models. In addition, It was previously revealed by “@数码闲聊站” that the Huawei is about to launch a Dimensity 700 chip equipped model and it is expected to be one of Nova 8 series models.
The Nova 8 series may feature a 6.5-inch LCD display with FHD+ resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, 16MP selfie camera, a quad rear camera setup consisting of 48MP+8MP+2MP+2MP. This Huawei phone will pack a 4000mAh battery with 40W fast charging.
