In the past few weeks, we have been seeing some information leaked about the Huawei Nova 8 series. It is speculated that this series includes 3 models: Nova 8 SE, Nova 8, and Nova 8 Pro. Today, leaker @ RODENT950 just shared an alleged image of the standard Huawei Nova 8 model and thanks to which they get interesting information about the phone design.
Although the quality is quite low, today’s photo shows that Huawei Nova 8 will use a pill-shaped “hole punch” screen like the Nova 7 Pro to accommodate the dual selfie camera cluster. However, this phone will have better display quality than its predecessor.
Specifically, the source today said Huawei’s next-generation Nova smartphone will have a screen that supports a 120Hz refresh rate, promising to give users the smoothest experience when playing games as well as using goods. By comparison, the previous Huawei Nova 7 series only came with a standard 60Hz refresh rate display.
In terms of hardware characteristics, various sources attribute the Kirin 990 5G or Kirin 820 processor to the gadget, and its Pro version – the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chip. Along with the novelties of the series, an update of the nova 7 lineup is also expected.
According to rumors, the device with the SE prefix based on the mobile platform Dimensity 800U will get a 6.5-inch display and a 3900mAh battery with support for 40 W power supplies. The source did not say the date of the presentation, detailed characteristics and estimated prices of new Huawei products.
