The Huawei Nova 7 SE was initially launched with a Kirin 820 chipset with 5G capabilities but later went out of stock on Vmall and other retailer sites, which gave birth to rumors that the Huawei Nova 7 SE Vitality Edition would debut soon, and it will be equipped with Mediatek Dimensity 800U.
And today, a Weibo user shared a poster of the new phone, and he claims that the handset will go on sale on 16 October. On the other hand, this poster also confirms that the Smartphone supports 5G connectivity, 64MP quad-camera system, and 40W SuperCharge.
In terms of design, its appearance is not different than the original device. It has a punch-hole LCD display with a vertical camera setup on the back. It is also equipped with a side-facing fingerprint scanner. The handset can be seen in green and gradient orange colors.
In addition, the new device will only have one 8GB RAM + 128GB memory combination. The rest of the specs will remain the same – quad rear cameras (64MP main + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP depth + 2MP macro), a 16MP selfie camera, and a relatively large 4000mAh battery.
The Nova 7 SE is the most affordable smartphone of this series, which went on sale in April with prices ranging from 2300 to 2800 Chinese Yuan ($340-$415). The Dimensity 800U chipset offers roughly the same performance as the Kirin 820 with its 5G capabilities and 7nm process technology, so we expect the price to remain the same.
