Last week, Huawei launched the official EMUI 10 Beta roadmap for 33 Huawei and Honor smartphones. As scheduled, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has launched the EMUI 10 open beta recruitment program for 5 more smartphones: Huawei Nova 4e, Maimang 8 (aka Mate 30 Lite), Maimang 7 (aka Mate 20 Lite), Huawei Enjoy 9S and Honor 20i.
Huawei’s closed beta program gives registered users first-hand access to test the latest EMUI features before they are commercially available. In addition, beta users can give their opinion to developers to solve as many errors as possible before the official launch of EMUI 10.
Official reminder, before upgrading the beta version, please backup important data of your phone and confirm that the backup content is complete and valid. As some older third-party applications are not compatible with Android 10, it is recommended that users try to update the application to the latest version in the Huawei application market before upgrading the beta version. In addition, users must ensure that the phone has more than 6GB of internal storage space and the phone does not have ROOT.
It should be noted that the public beta registration only supports the scheduled model in the phone pollen club App registration, does not support computer registration. The official also revealed that Huawei’s 10 Plus beta version is being verified internally, and it is expected to beta in mid-November.
As a quick summary, some of the key features that will arrive with EMUI 10 include an updated user interface, a total dark mode that changes according to the system, more agile performance, multi-screen collaboration, Huawei HiCar and many more.
