Tablet PC market has shrunk recently, but there are still many manufacturers are endeavored to create the new tablet pc, today, Lenovo has released Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Plus, and Huawei has also brought a new Huawei MediaPad M3 tablet pc.
Huawei M3 uses light and thin design with 4.6mm thickness over the edge, and 310g, it supports front facing fingerprint scanner on its physical Home button, and touch lightly to be back, slide left to right and other gestures. As we know, Huawei always adopts back fingerprint scanner, we guess the next Huawei P10 will also use this kind of design, but we don’t image it has used on its tablet pc.
This tablet pc takes priority to the music, video for recreation, it comes with 8.4-inch, 2,560 x 1,600 display, Harman Kardon-certified stereo speakers and high-resolution audio support, 82% screen to body ration, supporting ClariVu 3.0 display enhancement technology. It’s built in professional HI-FI chipset, compatible with customized AKG H300 headphone.
As for other specs, Huawei M3 is powered by Huawei’s own Kirin 950 octa-core processors (four 2.3GHz cores plus four 1.8GHz cores), paired with 4GB of RAM and either 32 or 64 gigs of expandable storage (up to 128GB microSD cards supported). It has dual 8MP camera, F/2.0 aperture, 5100mAh battery to support watching video for 11 hours, listening to music for 45 hours and playing games for 6 hours, supporting 802.11ac Wi-Fi 433Mbps,LTE Cat.4 150Mbps.
The OS of choice is Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Huawei’s Emotion UI (EMUI) 4.1 on top, and in addition to all the standard connectivity options, there are cellular variants with a nano-SIM card slot and LTE radio for getting data on the move.
As for price, Huawei Mediapad M3 sells RAM 4GB ROM 32GB WIFI version at 349 euros, RAM 4GB ROM 32GB LTE version at 399 euros, RAM 4GB ROM 64GB Wifi version at 399 euros, and RAM 4GB ROM 64GB LTE version at 449 euros.
