Recently, Huawei has confirmed that the MediaPad Pro tablet will be officially released on November 25 in China. This will be the flagship tablet with the M-Pen stylus, like Samsung’s high-end Galaxy Tab series.
Huawei MatePad Pro has appeared with the model number MRX-AL09 on the benchmarking platform Geekbench. The product has also appeared on the database of Bluetooth SIG. Both lists have revealed some key details of the MatePad Pro.
Based on the Geekbench database, Huawei MatePad Pro is equipped with an Android 10 operating system, a HiSilicon processor chip with 1.86 GHz clock and 6GB RAM. Basically, the SoC we see here matches the Kirin 990 currently on the Mate 30 Pro 4G. In Geekbench’s single and multi-core tests, the Huawei MatePad Pro scored 3808 and 11382 points, respectively.
Meanwhile, Bluetooth SIG has certified 4 models of Huawei MatePad Pro that support Bluetooth 5.0: MRX-AL09, MRX-W09, MRX-L00, and MRX-AN09. The tablet’s 3C certifications have revealed that the device will be available in Wi-Fi and LTE variants in China. MRX-W09 and MRX-AL09 may be the Wi-Fi and LTE versions of MatePad Pro.
MediaPad Pro’s special MRX-AN09 variant can support 5G because there is an additional ‘N’ code among models like EVR-AN00 (Huawei Mate 20 X 5G), TAH-AN00 (Huawei Mate X 5G), OXF -AN00 (Honor V30 5G) and WLZ-AN00 (Huawei Nova 6 5G).
The Huawei MatePad Pro is expected to have a Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixel) screen with a hole in the selfie camera. The device may be equipped with an in-display fingerprint reader. The back of the device has a dual-camera setup. 3C data revealed that the device could support 40W fast charging. Huawei’s high-end tablets are said to come in colors like Blue, White, Orange, and Green.
