On June 2, Huawei launched a brand new operating system, HarmonyOS 2.0 for consumers and side by side released numerous smart products with pre-installed HarmonyOS. These products include Huawei MatePad 11. During the launch conference, Huawei didn’t reveal much of the details about this tablet.
According to the previous information, the Huawei MatePad 11 is on pre-sale in Europe and the company will soon make it available to more markets.
Now, a well-known Weibo tipster – Chrysanthemum Fans have come up with fresh news regarding the MatePad 11. He revealed that this tablet will be officially released in July, and the price will be around 3000 yuan (about $463), which is very competitive.
In terms of appearance, Huawei MatePad 11 will inherit the similar scheme of MatePad 12.6-inch as a whole, with a full-screen design without the hole on the front and a vertically aligned dual-camera setup on the back.
a few days ago, according to the data released by Huawei’s official, the screen-to-body ratio of the MatePad 11 will be slightly lower. It should be that the frame is slightly wider than the 12.6-inch. However, the report revealed that the screen configuration of the device seems to be more outstanding. Its screen panel has a refresh rate of 2K level and supports a 120Hz ultra-high refresh rate, which can bring a smoother control experience.
In terms of core, Huawei MatePad 11 will be equipped with a Snapdragon 865 processor, which is the standard version of the current Snapdragon 870. The performance of the two is basically the same. It is completely in the first echelon of tablet performance. The tablet is equipped with 8GB of RAM and storage of 128 or 256GB. It should be noted that the Snapdragon 865 chip on MatePad 11 may not support 5G network connections.
As for the software, MatePad 11 will also be equipped with the newly released HarmonyOS 2.0 system, and support the new Hongmeng desktop, multi-screen collaboration, super terminal, global handwriting, and other functions. The experience is almost the same as the 12.6-inch version.
