Not long ago, Huawei officially released the HarmonyOS operating system, and at the same time introduced the first tablet device MatePad Pro 12.6 pre-installed with HarmonyOS. At the same time, He Gang, the COO of Huawei’s consumer business, also revealed at the press conference that a new MatePad 11 tablet computer will be launched in the follow-up, and it will be equipped with a Qualcomm processor.
Today, related bloggers revealed that this new Huawei MatePad 11 will officially debut in the Chinese market in September.
According to the previous report, the appearance of Huawei MatePad 11 will inherit the similar scheme of MatePad 12.6. The front adopts a full-screen design without any type of Hole, and the back adopts a vertical dual-camera setup.
However, the screen configuration seems to be more outstanding. According to the news, its screen panel not only has a 2K refresh rate but also supports an ultra-high refresh rate of 120Hz, which can bring a smoother control experience.
The screen also supports 100% DCI-P3 color coverage and minimizes user exposure to blue light and flicker, thanks to TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light (Hardware Solution) and TÜV Rheinland Flicker-Free certifications.
Along with the impressive display, we also find the new Huawei M-Pencil (2nd gen), all coated in platinum and highly responsive with an input latency of just 2 ms and support for 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity. Pairing and charging the stylus with the tablet is also particularly easy and intuitive: users only need to move the pen next to the device to magnetically connect it and initiate both processes.
The new Huawei M-Pencil (2nd generation) supports a wide range of innovative interaction features including Huawei FreeScript, which transforms handwritten content into coded text in real-time.
In terms of core, Huawei MatePad 11 will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, which is the predecessor of the current Snapdragon 870. The performance of the two is basically the same, and it is completely in the first echelon of tablet performance. It will also be equipped with 6+64GB/ two storage specifications of 128GB are available.
In addition, due to the shrinking of the overall body, the built-in battery of MatePad 11 has also been reduced. It will be equipped with a 7250mAh battery, which can be quickly recharged to 22.5W via the USB Type-C port. Designed as an all-around tablet, the new Huawei MatePad 11 delivers immersive audio experiences with the quad-speaker system tuned by Harman / Kardon sound engineers.
As for the software, Huawei MatePad 11 will also be equipped with the newly released HarmonyOS 2.0 system, and support the new Hongmeng desktop, multi-screen collaboration, Hyperterminal, global handwriting, and other functions. The experience is almost the same as the 12.6 version.
