It was reported that Huawei will launch the second-generation folding screen new phone Mate X2 this fall. According to industry insider Ross Young, the Huawei Mate X2 foldable panel will start production in September. It has an 8.03 inch 2480 x 2220 screen.
In addition, judging from the previously exposed pictures of the industry insider, Mate X2 will have a strip-shaped secondary screen in addition to the large foldable screen.
Samsung Display will provide Huawei with 8.3-inch CPI (transparent polyimide) panels in the third quarter of this year, with a sales target of about 300,000 units.
Not only that, but the rendering also shows that the Mate X2 supports a stylus, and a stylus slot is reserved inside the phone. In the half-folded state, the screen can be split in two to display different content.
