In addition to the much-anticipated Mate 40 series, huawei’s next-generation foldable Mate X2 will debut in the second half of this year.
On August 20, Industry insider Ross Young revealed that Huawei’s Mate X2 foldable panel will start production in September.
Previously exposed information shows that huawei Mate X2 adopts an inner folding design, and some netizens have drawn rendering pictures about Mate X2 according to relevant patents.
The rendering shows the Mate X2’s home screen on the same side as the camera, with a second screen below the camera that shows basic information such as time and weather.
Not only that, the rendering shows that the Mate X2 supports a stylus, and a stylus slot is reserved inside the phone. In the half-folded state, the screen can be split in two to display different content.
Ross Young says the rendering is not that different from the Mate X2, which is very close.
As for the release date, if the Huawei Mate X2 panel is produced in September, the new device could be released around October, so it’s worth looking forward to.
