The Mate Watch will be huawei’s first smartwatch to run on the Harmony OS, according to source RODENT950, and will debut alongside the Mate 40 series.
Just this year, Huawei applied for a trademark for “Mate Watch,” hinting at the possibility of a Mate line of smartwatches.
At present, Huawei’s Mate series has covered many categories such as mobile phones, laptops, tablets, etc., which makes it possible to release Mate series smartwatches in the future.
Given that Mate is Huawei’s flagship product line, it appears that Mate Watch will be a high-end smartwatch, details of which are not yet available.
The Mate Watch will debut alongside Huawei’s Mate 40 series, which is the company’s flagship product of the year. By convention, the Mate 40 series may include the Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro and Mate 40 RS Porsche design.

It’s worth noting that Huawei introduced the venti P40 Pro+ for the first time in the P40 series this year, and it’s not clear if there will be a venti version of the Mate 40, so it’s worth looking forward to.
