Although Google Assistant only was used on Google itself, as open source software, Google Assistant finally will be used on other smartphones.
Several weeks before, Google has announced to allow other smartphones can also use Google Assistant. Although we have no idea about which phones will Google allow, this time upgrading will be relative to brands of smartphone and models.
According to users’ feedback, besides Google Pixel and Moto Pure Android smartphones, Samsung Galaxy S7, LG V20, Huawei Mate 9 and Huawei Honor 6X will also get upgrading notification, and Oneplus 3 will also get upgrading this Google Assistant.
It’s interesting that Google also lets Huawei smartphone to support Google Assistant. Previously, Huawei will use Amazon Voice assistant, Alexa to their smartphones. So right now we have no idea which assistance will be more popular, the final result depends on users.
