Today, blogger @digital Chat station revealed that Huawei will release Mate 50 series based on Qualcomm’s new platform in Q1 next year.
We know that qualcomm’s new platform will be called Snapdragon 898, which means that the Mate 50 series powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 898 flagship processor will be released in Q1 next year.
For well-known reasons, Huawei’s handset business has been stymied this year, with the launch of the P50 series, originally scheduled for the first half of the year, delayed to the second half of the year and supported only 4G networks.
The Mate 50 series, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 898 processor, is still not available for 5G.
The snapdragon 898 chip is expected to debut at the end of this year (expected in December) and will be based on Samsung’s 4nm process with a tri-cluster architecture and an ARM Cortex X2 super-core.

In addition, huawei’s Mate 50 series screens are likely to use LTPO displays, which support 1-120Hz high refresh rate free adjustment for smooth power saving.
