Huawei’s Mate 40 series mobile phones will be released. This may be the flagship phone that has received the most attention at the end of 2020. One of the biggest highlights of the Mate 40 series is taking pictures. The official poster of Huawei previously suggested that the multi-camera system of this generation of mobile phones will adopt a new arrangement, which looks like a hexagon but is actually an octagon.
Now mobile phone case manufacturers have also stolen the appearance of Huawei Mate 40 series phones. The USB-C interface can be seen at the bottom, and the front is a punched dual camera, similar to the P40 Pro series.
The rear lens is particularly conspicuous. It can be seen that it is an octagonal array, which inevitably reminds people of Chinese gossip maps. I don’t know how the official name will eventually be.
As for the number of lenses, in addition to the top flash, there are 5 cameras that can be seen by the naked eye, and one looks to be a lens, but there is no common lens coating. It may be ToF or LiDAR like the Apple iPhone 12. Radar, auxiliary focus, and 3D modeling.
The lens specifications of the Mate 40 series mobile phones have not yet been determined, but the telephoto end is the highest at 125mm, which is the same as the P40 Pro+. It is estimated that the highest is still 10x optical zoom, and the 100x digital zoom is not sure whether it will be increased to 120x or even 150 times, after all, this generation of Kirin 9000 will also upgrade the ISP unit, with more powerful computing capabilities.
