Huawei Mate 40 Pro will feature a hyperboloid ultra-thin display (UTD), according to source @Rodent950.
Starting with the Mate 20 series, the Pro versions are all hyperboloid screens. Presumably, the Mate 40 Pro will also continue the curved screen scheme.
As revealed by @Rodent950, Huawei Mate 40 series includes two models, Mate 40 and Mate 40 Pro. As usual, the Mate 40 is also expected to offer a Porsche design version.
In addition, the Mate 40 Pro has a potential telephoto lens which will be the first time for the Mate family and supports 5x optical zoom and 55x digital zoom.
About the core configuration, the Mate 40 Pro will carry a new generation of Kirin flagship 5G Soc.
Phone insiders @ mobile chip expert revealed that the number of Kirin processor chips needed by Huawei before the end of the year, including 5nm, 7nm mobile phone chips and 16nm and 28nm Headphone TWS Bluetooth chips developed by Hisilicone, will be delivered by mid-September. Huawei’s shipments in the second half of the year will not be a problem.

As such, huawei’s Mate 40 series is likely to debut around September.
