The Chinese manufacturer is preparing the release of its next flagship. The Huawei Mate 40 and Huawei Mate 40 Pro are just around the corner and we still know a lot about the smartphones in the series. It is reported that Huawei Mate 40 Pro (or Pro +) could incorporate a promising new camera technology that we have already heard of in the past.
The information comes from a well-known leak source, Teme, which has shared information about Huawei’s two upcoming flagships. The Huawei Mate 40 series will be officially announced in September.
The first phone he mentioned is codenamed ‘Ocean’. That phone will be the regular Huawei Mate 40 and it will have a 6.67-inch curved screen provided by LG. It also mentions that the panel will offer a 90 Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the Huawei Mate 40 will include a 50MP main camera, along with a 20MP ultra-wide-angle lens, an 8MP telephoto camera, and a focusing system. by laser.
The other device, called “Noah,” will be a bit more advanced. It will offer a 90Hz screen provided by LG and BOE of the waterfall type, with a pill-shaped hole with 3D facial recognition.
The most interesting part of this leak is the cameras on the rear of the Huawei Mate 40 Pro (or Pro +) as we will see a 50MP main camera with liquid lens technology, which was patented by Huawei a while ago, and it should offer faster focus and better stabilization.
Under the body, as the rumors already circulating also claim, a Huawei heart should beat, namely that of the proprietary chip Kirin 9000. The indications relating to the battery capacity ( 4300, 4600 and 5000mAh ) refer to three models: it is, therefore, possible that in addition to Mate 40 and Mate 40 Pro, a Mate 40 Pro + also arrives, perhaps at a later time, as happened with P40 Pro +. Obviously none of this information is certain: as always, in the absence of official confirmation, it is advisable to approach rumors and leaks with the usual precautions.
