After tantalizing users, Huawei’s consumer CEO Yu Chengdong said publicly that the new Mate will wait and everything will happen as expected.
As a strong signal of the launch of the new device, we can see that Huawei is also stepping up its preparations.
After checking, Huawei Mate 40 Pro has already appeared in the certification database of The Thai regulatory authority, and its corresponding model is NOH-NX9.
However, the authentication page does not give more details about the device, the only thing it does have is its support for 5G networks.
In fact, NOH-NX9 has previously been certified by Bluetooth 5.1 and EEC Eurasian Economic Commission.
According to the current leaks, Mate 40 Pro features a front-facing double-aperture waterfall screen, a curvature close to that of the Mate 30 Pro, a solid volume key, a red power key, and symmetrical dual speakers. The Mate 40 Pro also has a circular camera module on its back and a potential zoom lens.
Also, Huawei Mate 40 series will support a 66-watt super fast charge.
