Yu Chengdong has determined that the Huawei P30 series will not have a 5G version. This may be due to the fact that the current 5G network is still immature.
According to foreign media reports, after the P30 conference ended, Yu Chengdong revealed in an interview that the current 5G network is still immature, but starting in the second half of this year, Huawei will be driven by the 5G network.
In addition, Yu Chengdong also revealed that Huawei is considering putting 5G functions into the next-generation Mate series. In other words, the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro series will support 5G networks, and in general, they will be launched around October this year.
Yu Chengdong said: “I understand that some users are looking forward to 5G, but the network is not ready yet, but it is still in the process of construction, but most users will not wait. 4G is good enough for them, but now they can choose (of which) take the best mobile phone.”
