Huawei is continuing to launch the Mate 30 Pro just days before its official announcement on September 19 in Munich – a European city as it has been used in recent years. So it’s only 2 days until we see the device and we already know almost everything about its appearance and capabilities.
Among them, we should soon mention the side touch control function, which comes to replace the Volume up / down buttons on the side of the device, due to the waterfall design of the screen, which leaves little room for the use of peripheral key hardware.

Huawei has decided to follow Vivo’s example with the Nex 3, and has turned the side-parts of the screen into volume up / down buttons and released the following teaser video to promote the feature.

The screen will be between 6.6 inches and 6.8 inches and offers Full HD + resolution (1176 x 2400 pixels). It features an AMOLED ‘Waterfall’ panel with ultra-curved edges and a built-in fingerprint reader. The Mate 30 Pro will support a 60Hz refresh rate. The handset is also under the screen.
The improved Huawei Face ID 2.0 on the Mate 30 Pro is faster and more secure and is also used to monitor heart rate and breathing rate. Inside we find the HiSilicon Kirin 990 5G SoC with 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of capacity.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro features a large 4500mAh battery with support for 40W SuperCharge and 27W SuperWireless Charge. The specifications sheet also mentions 30W support.
