A few months ago it was started circulating the rumors that Huawei Mate 30 Pro could it be no physical keys. And as noted by some sources, in the live photos leaked a few days ago there is a strong indication that goes in this direction.
Those appearing in the photos are indeed initial units and probably pre-production, but which almost certainly will correspond constructively to the definitive ones. And if you look at the right frame, where you place the power button colored red, you can see the absence of the usual balance of the volume.
This is not a completely new solution, starting with the first HTC U12 +. The Taiwanese flagship was followed by two more conceptual phones, namely Meizu Zero e VIVO APEX 2019. However, the first is failed during crowdfunding, while the second remained only a concept. And maybe there is a reason: atypical phones like them but they don’t sell.
But looking at the picture of Huawei Mate 30 Pro, it seems that the top of the range Huawei will not have physical keys for audio control. And given the cut-out of the cover right where they should be, one thinks that Huawei has opted for one-touch adjustment/volume slide. To lower or raise the volume, therefore, it may be necessary to make touches or slides with your fingers.
We will have to wait for its official launch to see if the Huawei Mate 30 Pro arrives with a sliding volume bar and see how it works in daily use.
