There is still much time left for the official launch of the new Huawei Mate 30 Pro flagship. Nevertheless, the first information about its properties has appeared in the manufacturer’s home country. Of course, there is no need to rely on them, of course, but some details have their logic. One of the current P30 Pro market stars has replaced the previous generation successfully. Mate 30 Pro should do it too.
On the design side, the rear of the device will look the same as the one with the current Mate 20 Pro. An original design with asymmetrically placed photo module, reminiscent of a hob, gets one extra image sensor. The LED flash moves to the center of the assembly. It is not yet clear what photo Mate 30 Pro will offer. We can guess 10x zoom, widescreen sensor, ToF sensor and main image sensor with high luminosity and a good dose of megapixels.
The new 7nm Kirin 985 kit, which will be made using EUV (Extreme Ultraviolet Lithography) technology, is to be placed under the hood. In addition to this chipset, the Balong 5000 modem will be located inside. So the Mate 30 Pro will also be available in the 5G version, not just the 4G version.
The OLED screen should grow up to 6.71 inches, which is really enough. Thanks to the extremely thin frames, the size of the device is at least slightly corrected. The question remains, what about 3D face recognition. Dimensional notches in the flag class screen are slowly disappearing.
The Mate 30 Pro could have a front camera positioned, for example, in a small hole similar to the Galaxy S10. The fingerprint reader will surely be below the screen. Rather, we are interested in whether it is still optical technology, or the manufacturer will provide an ultrasonic solution.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro is also likely to retain a 4200mAh battery for slim reasons. But a novelty is to be crazy fast 55W charging. Reverse wireless charging can get 10 watts of power to make it more useful. At least in comparison with the current generation.
We would also like to hear about the new version of the EMUI user interface, which has been shown to be a more fundamental innovation. But nothing in this regard mentions the Chinese source. Mate 30 Pro should be introduced sometime in October or November. In the meantime, a lot of things can change, so we’ll be waiting for more “leaked” information.
