The Chinese company Huawei should announce the Mate 30 series in October. The Mate 30 Pro – in particular – should be the company’s most powerful flagship phone, as it will be powered by a new chipset. In the last hours, new reports on the next Chinese giant have appeared on the Net, ready to reveal some of its key features.
A few weeks after the launch of the P30 range, the next device from Huawei begins to be talked about: some sources have revealed that Mate 30 Pro will be powered by the Kirin 985 7nm chipset built by EVC. To support 5G connectivity, the SoC will include the Balong 5000 5G modem and it is assumed that the Mate 30 Pro will only be available in the 5G and 4G variants.
As you may recall, the Mate 20 Pro has a 6.39 inch OLED display: its successor could be a little larger and equipped with a 6.71 inch OLED screen provided by BOE, as well as being curved by everyone and four sides.
The Mate 20 Pro we know that supports 3D facial unlocking, while there is no information yet that the advanced face recognition feature will also be available on the Mate 30 Pro. What we are quite sure of is that the smartphone will come with an in-display fingerprint reader.
Furthermore, the Mate 30 Pro should have a quad camera configuration: the details of the four lenses are not yet known, although it is known that it will be equipped with a 3D ToF sensor. The configuration of the camera configuration will be identical to the Mate 20 Pro: that is to say that on the Mate 30 Pro a square photographic module will be inserted that will include four sensors for cameras and a LED flash in the center.
Regarding the battery, the next device of the Chinese company should rely on a 4200mAh battery, a slightly disappointing number considering the fact that it will be a large smartphone. Support is also provided for the 55W SuperCharge technology and for 10W reverse wireless charging. Mate 30 Pro is expected to be presented sometime during the month of October, but its price is unknown.
