The Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro leaks targets that show specifications and design details for some time. But today, the famous leaker Ice Universe brought more details about the device. In a post on Twitter, the profile known for his cat profile photo released images of alleged smartphone screen Protector.
The protectors are high and wide, following a trend that the South Korean competitor has adopted with the Galaxy Note line. There are still cutouts for the camera and speakers, although the top has been hidden from the image, which does not let you know its format accurately.

Since May, specifications on smartphones have leaked. The first indicated that the Mate 30 Pro should have an OLED display of 6.7 inches and 90 Hz manufactured by the BOE, as well as the regular version. Thus, Huawei will differentiate its devices by the cameras and resources, and not by the size of the screen. However, as can be understood, these are still speculations not confirmed by the manufacturer. Having an OLED panel makes the Mate 30 Pro a device positioned in the line tops category.
Other features also point to a 7-nanometer Kirin 985 octa-core chipset equipping the device, which would have metal and glass rear, plus a 5G Balong 5000 modem, and a quad module for the camera that includes a sensor Time of Flight (ToF) – probably in circular format , as does Motorola -, biometric reader under the screen and 55W of SuperCharge charge – an evolution of the Mate 20 Pro with 40W charging support – and 10W reverse wireless charging.
The trend is that, in addition to IP68 protection that already appears in last year’s models, both devices have at least 128GB of storage, and the possibility of an expansion via microSD card. It is possible to still expect 8GB of RAM in the Mate 30 line.
With the apparent peace of mind between Huawei and the United States and the end of the Google embargo, you can imagine that Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro will be released with EMUI on the latest version of Android.
