Huawei has not yet officially announced the presentation of the flagship Mate 30 line, but insiders have already begun to share details about the new products. So, high-quality images of the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro from one of the manufacturers of covers appeared on the network. The devices are shown from all sides, which allows a detailed review of their design.
If you believe the images presented, outwardly the Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro will be very similar to each other. Both devices will receive a practically frameless display with a built-in fingerprint scanner and a small cutout on top where several sensors will be placed – possibly a 3D face scanning system. In the pictures of the “Pro Variant,” the case is more rectangular, while the usual Mate 30 has a slightly rounded shape.
At the back, smartphones are almost identical and have a round block in the center under the main camera. It contains three modules and a flash. The latter is round for the regular Mate 30, and the square for the Mate 30 Pro. On the side of the cameras is a grill, the purpose of which is not yet clear.
It can be an additional speaker or a hole for cooling the processor. Underneath is another sensor – presumably a ToF sensor. Among the design features, we can highlight the presence of an additional button on the Mate 30 Pro, while the Mate 30 has a 3.5 mm audio jack.
Earlier on the network, details appeared on the Mate 30 Pro camera. It will consist of a 40MP 1 / 1.5-inch module with a variable aperture (f / 1.6 – f / 1.4) and “film optics” for better video shooting, a second 40MP 1 / 1.7-inch sensor with a wide-angle lens with a viewing angle of 120 degrees, an 8MP sensor with a periscope lens for five-fold optical zoom and a ToF sensor for accurate 3D scanning. The presentation of the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro is expected in September-October this year.
