The basis Dex Dock Samsung offers users a desktop user interface on an external monitor when one of their compatible smartphones is coupled to the base. This allows you to use your phone for productivity tasks (such as editing an Office 365 file), browsing desktop web pages, etc. Now, we hear a rumor from France that the Huawei Mate 10 will offer functionality similar to DeX, which will allow users to use their Android applications through an interface similar to that of a desktop PC.
Huawei Dex for Mate 10 will allow users to use the same interface on their computer to access Android applications. This feature is possible even when connecting the phone to a large wireless screen via Miracast.
MirAxess CEO Yanis Anteur said Huawei Mate 10 will deliver PC-style features. This is also part of the hint of Huawei’s recent slogan, “Mate 10 is not just a smartphone. Here is what Anteur has said on it:
“For now on we recommend to use the Mirabook with the Galaxy S8 for DeX and Windows Phones for Continuum. I also have a secret news for you (sic), the new Huawei smartphones announced on 16 October will have a DeX like feature and should be compatible with the Mirabook”
In addition, Huawei Mate 10 is also expected to foster self-learning through artificial intelligence from a separate AI chip integrated into the new Kirin 970 processor. In the leaked yesterday, we see wallpaper machine with the letter AI highlight to emphasize that this is one of the unique features on the device. Huawei is currently the second largest smartphone maker in the world, behind only Samsung. The company is expecting Mate 10 to be a breakthrough device that helps Huawei leapfrog mobile device market share.
According to all the rumors that have hitherto affected the new Huawei home jewel, the Huawei Mate 10 could have many surprises. We just have to wait for the official presentation that will take place on 16th October 2017.
