Earlier I wrote about a phablet device Huawei V8 Max from the Huawei to be launched alongside the Huawei Honor 8, which didn’t happen, although imformation has imerged that the massive sized phablet with 6.6″ screen with 2K resolution will be launched at August 1.
As if the possible release date wasnt enough, the Honor V8 Max prices were also revealed today. It is said that the phablet with 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM will start at 1999 Yuan ($300) while the 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM will retail at 2299 Yuan ($345). There is a possibility of other announcements alongside but no confirmations yet.
The phone will come with a massive 6.6-inch 2K display with a Kirin 950 chipset clocked at 2.3GHz. There are two versions expected, 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB. There will be a fingerprint sensor as well. At the back, the phablet comes with a 13MP camera while up front, there will be an 8MP shooter. The battery is considerably large, with a capacity of 4400mAh. It will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. TENAA listings made this all information available we are grateful to them.
The Huawei Honor V8 Max with these specifications is directly aimed to compete with Xiaomi Mi Max The Mi Max comes with a little smaller screen at 6.44″ and has a single back camera as opposed tp the dual camera setup of the V8 Max. So what do think will the Huawei Honor V8 Max be able to beat the Xiaomi Mi Max ? Let me know in the comments.
