At the recent 2016 GSMA Global Terminal Summit, China Mobile launched the China Mobile 2016 Terminal quality report.This report by China Mobile is the very first of its kind conducted anywhere in the world.The report was compiled by a lab commissioned by by the GCF, included 14 brands, price evaluations, VoLTE, evaluated 82 phones for quality, the phones cameras and screens among other things.
The testing program involved 4 large criteria and 41 indicators all of which encompassed the following areas
1) Communication (radio spectrum systems, antenna performance, throughput, call quality, network adapter)
2) Multimedia capabilities (camera photograph, screen display)
3) System accessibility (machine power consumption battery life, heat stability, performance, system, fluency)
4) Users (Internet user ratings) 
After testing and price taken into account the following phones all ranked up there in the the TOP 3 in each price category
Up to 1000 yuan or $150: Huawei Honor 5C, Samsung On5, Meizu m3;
From 1000 yuan/$150 to -2000 yuan/$300: Samsung J5, J7, Huawei G9 Youth Edition,
From 2000/$300-3000/$450: Huawei Mate 8, Huawei honor v8, OPPO R7 Plus
More than 3000/$450:Samsung Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 edge, Huawei P9.
