A month earlier, Honor held a big presentation of the flagships Magic 3, along with which the mid-budget Honor X20 debuted on the fresh MediaTek Dimensity 900 chip. And, judging by the new page in the TENAA database, its older brother, Honor X20 Max will soon be presented.
The Honor X20 Max carries the model number KKG-AN70. It has the codename “King Kong”, which, interestingly, coincides with the codename of the predecessor Honor X10 Max. In addition, it is said to have a balanced dual-speaker setup.
The Honor X20 Max is marketed as a 5G phone and may have a massive 7.2-inch screen. As a reminder, the predecessor had a 7-inch panel with FHD + resolution. However, we can expect the phone to have either FHD + or a better screen resolution. Under the hood, the device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimenstiy 1100 SoC. It will be powered by a massive 6000mAh battery with 66W fast charging technology.
In addition
The phone is expected to have an improved camera system. The predecessor, the X10 Max, was launched with a 48MP + 2MP dual-camera system. The recently launched X20 has a triple camera system with a main 64MP camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro unit. The X20 Max may come with RAM expansion technology, which will allow the device to use some of the storage space as RAM.
At the moment, Honor hasn’t revealed any details about the launch of the X20 Max. But given the speed of these leaks, we expect the company to break the silence soon.
