The Honor V40 will be released on January 22 and is expected to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 1000+ chip. Microblog whistleblower @digital chat station has revealed some product parameters today.
As you can see from the product renderings, the front of the phone will have a perforated curved screen and two front-facing cameras. But according to the blogger, the front-facing camera will be a 16-megapixel main camera with a sensor. The standalone sensor is expected to be a TOF 3D depth camera that will be used for face recognition.
The Honor V40 has a 4000mAh battery capacity, which is expected to have a good battery life given the low power consumption of the Dimensity 1000+ chip, not falling behind the Qualcomm SoC models in the same price range. The Honor V40 only supports 50W of high-speed wireless charging in the high-memory version, while other models are expected to have low-speed wireless charging.
In addition, the whistleblower also said that the Honor V40 screen supports 100% DCI-P3 color gamut screen color management, dual speakers, bilinear motors. The recently released iQoo 7 also features a double-lift + bilinear motor, which is intended to improve the gaming experience.

The Honor V40 is expected to have a 6.72-inch OLED screen, supporting 10bit 1 billion color display, and refresh rate up to 120Hz, we previously reported. As for camera, the official had preheated mobile phone main camera for 50 million pixels super-sensitive lens, dark light picture quality is excellent.
