Honor has recently launched the Honor Notebook, a new high-end thin and light notebook that includes the Honor MagicBook X Pro series, featuring 14-inch and 16-inch models. This is Honor’s first Pro series notebook product line, an upgraded version of the previous MagicBook X. The Honor MagicBook X Pro boasts an Intel 13th generation Core standard pressure processor with 12 cores, 16 threads, and the highest turbo frequency of 4.7GHz. The notebook’s heat dissipation design includes a single 10mm heat pipe and a 0.1mm 20,600 square millimeter heat sink for the 14-inch model and two 6mm heat pipes and a 0.2mm 29,700 square millimeter heat sink for the 16-inch model. The notebook’s appearance is designed with aluminum alloy on three sides of ACD and plastic on the B side, with an integrated metal shaft. The opening and closing angle is about 150 degrees, and the color is Glacier Silver.
The 14-inch model is as light as 1.34kg and as thin as 15.9mm, while the 16-inch model weighs 1.46kg and is as narrow as 16.9mm. The 14-inch screen accounts for 88%, and the left and right borders are 4.5mm, with a resolution of 2240×1400, a pixel density of 189PPI, a contrast ratio of 1500:1, a brightness of 300nits, and a color gamut that covers 100% sRGB. The 16-inch screen accounts for 89%, but the resolution is reduced to 1920×1200, the pixel density is 142PPI, and the contrast ratio is also reduced to 1200:1.
The MagicBook X Pro has a dual-channel LPDDR4X-4266 16GB as standard memory, and the hard disk is available in 512GB or 1TB, with the option of expanding the second hard disk. The battery capacity is 60Wh, and it can be charged to about 45% in half an hour and fully charged in about one and a half hours. In terms of intelligent interconnection, the whole system supports smart functions such as keyboard and mouse sharing, notification sharing, call sharing, and application connection brought by the MagicOS system. Information and services can be seamlessly transferred among the three screens of notebooks, mobile phones, and tablets.
The Honor Notebook’s application recommendation function covers over 2,000 mainstream PC applications. At the press conference, Honor demonstrated the notebook’s durability by dropping it to the ground without any damage.
The Honor MagicBook X 14 Pro is priced at 4699 yuan for the 16GB+512GB and 4999 yuan for the 16GB+1TB. The first discount price is 4499 yuan and 4799 yuan, respectively. The Honor MagicBook X 16 Pro is priced at 4599 yuan for the 16GB+512GB and 4899 yuan for 16GB+1TB, with the first discount price at 4299 yuan and 4499 yuan, respectively. The omnichannel pre-sale has already begun, and the official sale will start on March 16 at 10:00.
