Honor today officially announced that the new thin and light notebook Honor MagicBook X 14 2022 is open for pre-order. However, Honor has not yet announced the complete configuration information, nor has it given a specific price.
As we can see in the shared teaser, the notebook has a new look, with a metal body that looks very thin and light. The screen uses a 14-inch 2.2K eye-protection anti-glare screen, and the screen frame is extremely narrow.
In terms of core configuration, the Intel 12th generation Core processor is upgraded, with the highest optional i5-12500H, 12 cores, and 16 threads, the base frequency is 2.5GHz, the acceleration frequency is 4.5GHz, and the base power consumption is 45W.
You can also choose a low-power i5-1235U with 10 cores and 12 threads, a maximum frequency of 4.4GHz, an 80-unit core display, and basic power consumption of 15W.
It is expected that this new notebook of Honor will also support Honor’s self-developed OS Turbo technology, which can achieve precise control of CPU/GPU power consumption according to the system load. In the same scenario, the performance is better and the power consumption is lower.
Just in April, Honor just launched the previous generation Honor MagicBook X 14, equipped with an i5-1135G7 processor, 1080P high-definition screen, equipped with a 65W charger, which can be charged to 80% in 60 minutes, starting at 3999 yuan (about $577).
