Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is preparing to expand the lineup of MagicBook Pro 2020 laptops with new versions on May 18. Ahead of the official launch, popular e-tailer Jingdong (JD.com) has put up the Honor MagicBook Pro 2020 for reservation.
Typically, the MagicBook series laptops are available in several versions with different diagonals of the screen, but at the moment only a 16.1-inch modification of the device is presented on the floor. Another interesting point is that the computer is only available in versions with Intel Core i5 and i7 processors.
As the previous model uses 8th generation processors, the new laptops are expected to be equipped with 10th generation chips. There are currently no versions with AMD processors on the JD.com reservation page and it is unclear whether they will be featured.
The laptops available for reservation are equipped with 16GB of RAM and 512GB SSDs. Other configurations are likely to appear later on sale. As for the design, as in previous models, the Honor MagicBook 2020 will be manufactured in a thin aluminum case.
However, the use of a 16.1-inch screen clearly indicates that new laptops can only be considered conditionally portable. However, during the presentation, news items of 14 and 15 inches can be displayed that will replace similar models from last year. The cost of Honor MagicBook Pro 2020 laptops has yet to be reported. The prices posted on the booking page are clearly not true.
