Honor has officially declared that the launch of the Honor Magic 5 series and Honor Magic Vs will take place on February 27th at 8:30 PM Beijing time. The conference will be held during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. As per tradition, a separate press conference for the Honor Magic 5 series will be held in China in the near future.
The official poster released by Honor hints at the circular triangle design of the new phone’s rear camera, which is in line with previously leaked renderings. The back of the device is reportedly available in three colors, orange, black, and silver, and the “100X” logo suggests the presence of a periscope telephoto lens.
The Honor Magic 5 series will feature a 6.8-inch customized quasi-high-score eye protection flexible screen by BOE, a top-level screen in the market. The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processor and will support 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging. Additionally, it will have IP68 dust and water-resistant capabilities.
The highlight of the Honor Magic 5 series will be its camera capabilities. In addition to the periscope telephoto, the device will have a 50-megapixel super-outsole main camera and support AI-ISP. This will result in lower power consumption, faster face unlocking response, and quicker camera start-up.
Based on the preheated starry sky theme, three-camera arrangement, and countdown, Honor is likely to collaborate with Sansody and launch a joint version model.
