Honor has scheduled an event for February 27 in Barcelona, where it is expected to unveil Honor Magic 5 series, as well as an overseas version of the Magic Vs foldable phone. In advance of the official launch, German tech media WinFuture.de and trusted source @_snoopytech_ shared the rendering and specification information for the Honor Magic 5 Lite.
First, from the renderings, Honor Magic 5 Lite looks a little similar to Huawei’s Mate 40/50 model in terms of battery capacity, screen and camera upgrades compared to its predecessor.
It’s worth noting that the Honor Magic 5 Lite is powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chip as its predecessor, and only offers a 6GB+128GB storage combination.
iGeekphone has learned that Honor Magic 5 Lite has been upgraded from the previous IPS in screen material to OLED, with a 6.67-inch screen on the front that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 800 Nits. And unlike its predecessor, the fingerprint sensor is under the screen, rather than on the side.
Honor Magic 5 Lite comes with a 5,100mah capacity battery, a 64-megapixel main camera, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide Angle and a 2-megapixel macro camera on the back, and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera on the front.
