The Honor is currently preparing for the launch of Honor 9X in China on 23 July. But the brand has already mapped out the course for the next ten years of its mid-range phone series. As reported by HuaweiCentral.
Honor has requested the registration of trademarks 10X, 20X, 30X, 40X and 50X in various Intellectual Property Organizations worldwide. The name 10X is, in fact, the most recent and has recently appeared in EUIPO.
Of course, the company simply wants to ensure the brand of the series for the future. This probably means that the successor to Honor 9X will be called Honor 10X However, trademarks still appear in a pending format but must be approved soon.
For now, the focus is on the Honor 9X as the latest mid-range SoC Kirin 810 based on the 7nm process. There is increasing evidence that the Honor 9X will feature a pop-up camera that has been appearing more and more on mid-range phones this year. Honor will do this for the first time. And this leaves us enthusiastic about the outlook on the device.
The Honor 9X‘s camera should also be a triple sensor configuration and a quad-camera configuration for the 9X Pro. Fortunately, there are a lot of information leaks in relation to the specs of the device and we expect the official teasers to appear the next week before launch.
