Honor 9X will be officially presented on July 23rd: it is revealed by the same brand through a post published on Weibo. The smartphone had received CCC certification last month (serial number HLK-AL10), although from the documentation it was possible to extrapolate very few technical details. The most concrete information came later when the first technical details were shared on Twitter:
Smartphones are credited with 6.5-6.7 inches IPS displays. The usual model will receive a drop-shaped cut-out, a triple camera of 24MP + 8MP + 2MP and a battery of 3750mAh.

The smartphone will, therefore, be equipped with the Kirin 810, processor announced in late June and consisting of eight cores (2x Cortex-A76 @ 2.27GHz + 6x Cortex-A55 @ 1.88GHz), an ARM Mali-G52 GPU, an NPU based on Huawei Da Vinci architecture and with support for the Kirin Gaming + proprietary technology.
With Honor 9X a Pro variant will probably also be announced, already appeared in some previews and of which – technical side – very little is known. The rumors report the presence of the same Kirin 810 processor that we will find on the standard model, as well as a photographic compartment on the back consisting of 4 sensors.
Slashleaks shared a (presumed) image of the smartphone, taken from the back: if this were to be the case (but in this case we prefer to proceed cautiously), the device would therefore be equipped with a front pop-up camera, the main module positioned vertically and a flat glass back, with the Honor logo on the bottom.
We do not see the fingerprint reader, so it may be on the screen. Or, on the side, as in the case of Honor 20. In the lower part, we can see an input for headphones jack.
At the moment we can not get anything more clear with this render. We recommend that you take the information with tweezers because we could be before a montage. Appointment therefore to 23 July to dispel any doubts and learn more about the new Honor smartphone line.
