Honor officially announced today the launch of the Honor 80 Pro Flat Screen, which will go on sale in all channels at 10:08 on January 6th. The device uses 160MP ultra-clear images, with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, supports AI Vlog video master, and intelligent recognition functions of 6 major scenes.

The new Honor 80 Pro Flat Screen offers a flat 6.67-inch OLED display panel with Full HD+ resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colors and 1920 Hz PWM dimming. The previously presented version had a curved display panel.
Another change can be seen in the cameras, which Honor has finished a bit short. The main camera is still 160MP, but now there is an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP macro camera alongside it. A 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP depth camera were previously seen in the Honor 80 Pro.
It has also been decided to reduce the front cameras. The model with a flat screen has a 32MP selfie camera. The Honor 80 Pro featured a 50MP + 2MP dual front camera. Actually, no other significant changes are seen.
The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 system chip is responsible for the power. The battery has a size of 4800mAh and is charged with a power of 66 watts. The operating system is still Android 12, on top of which the MagicOS 7.0 user interface hovers. In addition, the device has an under-screen fingerprint reader.
The dimensions of the Honor 80 Pro Flat Screen are 162.5 x 75.3 x 7.9 mm and it weighs 186 grams. The device is made of a plastic frame and glass surfaces. Honor presented the phone in green, pink and black. The new version price is 3599 yuan (about 493 euros) for the 12 + 256GB version.
